List of Slave Vessels known to be employed in the illicit trade in Slaves, from the arrival of HMS Menai at the Mauritius, 9 February 1821.
Notes: Shows the trade went on after 1807, British Navy vessels actions to stop it, and Thomas Clarkson's ongoing involvement.

One vessel ‘Courieur' of Mauritius was chased on shore by Lt Weatherley of HMS Menai & burnt by her Crew, part of her cargo was secured by the proper authorities on shore - nearly 200 blacks on board. A French ship from Nantz ‘Success' carrying 340 blacks was captured after information was received. Another French ship ‘L;Auguste' carrying 350 blacks escaped under cover of night. "Landed her cargo in first week April at Bourbon having lost nearly 100 of the ‘Negroes' since which time she has been down, repaired & refitted at this island & is again employed on the Coast of Africa under the French Flag."
